Maya Ciarrocchi - Projection Designer

Maya Ciarrocchi has announce her upcoming exhibition at Dance Theater Workshop, 219 West 19th St. NYC. Here’s a sneak peak:

Maya Ciarrocchi has created a disorienting experience of urban proportions through her three channel video installation, Wasteland. Influenced by T.S. Elliot’s epic poem and using classic shots of New York City icons, including views of Times Square, the Hudson River, and the beach, Maya creates inverted images where water becomes sky, cityscapes become cloud formations, and pedestrians on the beach become suspended behemoths.

The opening reception is Saturday September 15th from 4:30-6:30pm.
