JOE HUPPERT is an LA based designer who creates supportive, informative, abstract, kinetic and immersive environments with sound and/or video, mostly for live performance. Starting off as a professional piano player, he was educated by the clubs, storefronts and improv comedy theaters of Chicago, the Theatre School at DePaul  University, the Yale School of Drama and all of his collaborators. His work has been seen and heard at Pasadena Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, San Diego Rep, the San Diego Museum of Man, North Coast Rep, Universal Studios Hollywood, the Museum of Tolerance, Hudson Theatres, and other venues and attractions in Southern California, as well as around the country in places like Chicago, New Haven, Boulder, Kansas City, Vegas, Wisconsin, North Carolina and recently off-Broadway in Eisenhower: This Piece of Ground. Joe is a member of Local 829 and is most proud of the people he has been fortunate to mentor throughout his career.
